Q&A with Candice Krans from Bean Group’s Portsmouth, NH Office

Manager of Accounting Services & Director of Relocation

What year did you start at BG?
2011

Briefly describe what you do at BG every day: 
Financial reporting, managing the flow of transactions through our accounting system. Manage the referral department and manage new/ongoing projects.

What is your favorite thing about working at BG?
The ability to take personal initiative projects that affect the company efficiency and profitability.

What is your favorite BG memory?
Breaking and entering. When we were over in the Pease office, BG Title was locked and there was no key – and closings that needed to happen. Andy and I used credit cards, hairpins, and screwdrivers to try and bust the lock, to no avail. Next thing you know, I am sliding a hand truck under the door frame and lifting while Andy removed the pins from the door – we removed the entire door, all during a training class next door!

Three words to describe BG: 
Efficient, innovative, progressive.

Spending time with my husband and two young sons.

What is your proudest moment at BG?
July 2012 – Michael sent out a company-wide email congratulating me on completing my MBA.

CODE OF ETHICS TRAINING

If you are not sure whether or not you have taken a Code of Ethics class, please contact your local board of REALTORS®.

If you still need to take a Code of Ethics class, you are REQUIRED to have the class completed by December 31, 2018.  

From the NAR website:
“REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time within two-year cycles. The two-year requirement is new, background information on the change is available. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®. A new two-year cycle began January 1, 2017. The deadline for this cycle is December 31, 2018.”
