In 2017 Bean Group acquired The Maine Real Estate Network, bringing our footprint to 37 offices across Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont, creating one of the largest brokerages in Northern New England.

Bean Group has been included on REAL Trends ranking of the 500 largest brokerages in the country for ten consecutive years (2009 – 2018), and has been featured on Inc. Magazine’s prestigious Inc. 500|5000 list of the fastest growing independent companies in the United States six times.

In late 2003 Michael Bean launched Bean Group with a singular goal in mind – to build a better real estate brokerage. To that end, from day one Bean Group has focused on providing an exceptional experience for our agents.

We do that by focusing on providing exceptional services and support that help our agents succeed in today’s market: a strong brand backed by professional, contemporary online and offline marketing materials, transactional and technology support from highly experienced brokers and staff, and extraordinary training and career development opportunities for our agents.

Real Estate Licensing

Get Your New Hampshire Real Estate License

Ready to start your real estate career? The first step in getting your real estate license in New Hampshire is to take the NH Real Estate pre-licensing class. Bean Group’s pre-licensing program is approved by the NH Real Estate Commission. Completing our program will qualify you to sit for the NH salesperson’s exam.

 

Bean Group University: Bean Group’s NH Real Estate School

Our NH pre-licensing classes are offered at our Portsmouth headquarters, located at 1150 Sagamore Avenue. Bean Group’s pre-licensing program consists of 10 class meetings and includes the required 40 hours of classroom study. The $299 fee includes the textbook and other class materials.

Spring 2018 Course | March 7 – May 9 | Wednesdays 9:30am-1:30pm

Summer 2018 Course | June 5 – July 12 | Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30pm – 9:30pm

Fall 2018 Course | September 11 – October 11 | Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30pm – 9:30pm

 

Experienced Real Estate Instructors

Our classes are taught by experienced REALTORS® with many years in the industry. In addition to teaching pre-licensing, our instructors are actively engaged in the real estate business every day. Applying real life examples to the training is a cornerstone of our program.

Tom Heany

NH pre-licensing courses are taught by Tom Heany, Bean Group’s Director of Agent Development. Tom is an experienced REALTOR® with over 30 years in the real estate industry. In addition to his experience as an instructor of both pre-licensing and continuing education courses, Tom has managed several New England real estate brokerages, and closed over 500 transactions during his sales career.
